More broken promises from Greenwich Council

Greenwich council continues to fail in its promise to consult local residents on matters of importance. At the last council meeting petitions were presented asking councillors to pause their sale of Green Garth, part of the Shrewsbury House estate on Shooters Hill and the Equestrian Centre beside Woodlands Farm. Residents were already angry that the council had decided to sell both these assets without consultation with the community. Now the council is refusing to allow time for community asset proposals to be developed and appears to be pushing ahead with sales.
